Catherine Mizell Art at the #SBBSpringMarket

We had a great time at the Something Beautiful Boutique's Spring Market on Sunday, March 5th in Bristol, Va at the Bristol Train Station!

It was wonderful meeting new people in the area (since we are relatively new to the Tri-cities ourselves), talking, laughing, and showcasing Catherine Mizell Art! Brandon and sweet baby Emma came out to help... and she did great for the entire market!

My sister Elizabeth, and my nephew Marshall also came out to lend a hand, it was great to have them there with us.

We had a few trains roll by (like, VERY close! Those are train tracks right behind us) and it was pretty exciting to feel the friction heat blowing off of the rails. The Briston Train Station is a landmark and had its first train roll through in 1856. The current building was built in 1902 and revitalized in 1999, and is now used for weddings and special events. We love our southern history and architecture, and this building is really industrial and beautiful! It reminds me of the trains rolling through one of my favorite places in the world, Yazoo City, MS.

I had fun planning my table display and since I only had one week to prepare, it was a challenge. But I think it turned out nicely and the artwork (mini floral paintings pictured below) popped off the table.

I look forward to more events and special thanks to the Something Beautiful Boutique for hosting!
