Meet the Artist | Catherine Mizell
Hey friends!
I’m Catherine Mizell, and I'm a southern artist and graphic designer from the great state of Mississippi. I received my BFA from Mississippi State University in 2007, then spent the next twelve years living in beautiful places across the south––the Lowcountry of Charleston, SC (where I met my wonderful husband, Brandon), the midlands of Columbia, SC, and the mountains of Johnson City, TN (where my beautiful daughter, Emma, was born.)
Throughout my life's journey I've been inspired by the beauty of the south; from blazing delta sunsets of my childhood to hallowed Lowcountry marshes and the picturesque mountains of Appalachia. My art reflects my love of romance, florals, whimsy, charm, forgotten places, timeworn treasures, and the ethereal beauty that surrounds us all; gifted to us by a loving Creator.
My family and I are settled into a quaint home in Clinton, MS, with our two kitties, a messy art studio, and big dreams for the future.
